Culinary Arts: Holiday Baking
Students will make a variety of baked goods in preparation for the upcoming holiday season. Some possible selections include Pumpkin pie, Gingersnap cookies, Red velvet swirl brownies, Pumpkin bread, Coffee cake, Red velvet cookies. Students will practice measuring and mixing techniques, decorating skills and presentation. Students are sure to have a great time while learning essential life skills and how math and science are integral aspects of baking.

- Class Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a break for snack
- Class Dates: Monday (11/22/2021) and Tuesday (11/23/2021)
- Location: Windemere Ranch Middle School
- Grades: 3rd – 6th grade students
- Cost: $160 for class plus $15 for supplies, materials and consumables
HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL: The health and safety of our students, staff, their families, and the community at large is our top priority. SRVEF is following the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Contra Costa Health Services. Guidelines will be strictly observed. We will be updating our protocols and procedures as guidelines change.
REFUND, CANCELLATION and WAITLIST POLICIES: Refunds will be allowed up until 2 weeks before the first day of class and will incur a $25 processing fee. After this time, no refunds will be granted. If a class is cancelled by SRVEF Imagineering, you will be given the option to transfer registration to a similar class or receive a full refund. The waitlist will be handled in order until 24 hours before the event. At that time if a spot becomes available, the entire wait list will be notified at the same time and the first to respond will be offered the spot.
