Event Description
We Are The Future Summit will be held in February 2023 as a one-day live summit, powered by Minority Millennials and City & State NY held in person at Nassau Coliseum for the whole region to attend. The live programming for attendees will consist of live groundbreaking sessions and leadership insights from the emerging wave of diverse thought leaders, keynote presentations by notable corporate, nonprofit, and government executives, lunch, and an exciting networking cocktail reception.
We are uniting creative leaders from across the New York Metropolitan areas, focused on supporting next generation talent, entrepreneurs, emerging leaders, executives, and government leaders.

The 21st Century Workforce
The pandemic taught us that work is no longer commuting into the office for 8 hour days 5 days a week. But of course, we have lost the social and collaborative element along the way. What does the Future Workforce of NY look like? Topics will include Civil Service (Benefits, Unions); Future Industries; Diversity & Inclusion; Human Capital Investment.
Criminal Justice Reform and Public Safety
Three years ago, New York State adopted a law ending the assessment of cash bail in most cases involving misdemeanors and nonviolent felonies. Here, we review what we know so far about criminal justice reform and its impact on public safety and what can be done to change the current systems.
Economic Freedom and Generational Wealth
This panel will help foster and nurture entrepreneurial ideas and help provide access to the capital needed to build a business. It will address targeted initiatives that promote equitable economic policy and financial literacy to build new generational wealth. This discussion can perhaps help to close deep-rooted racial wealth gaps and create new economic freedom.
