Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) focused panel session

ITS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Event

This Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) focused panel session will highlight the impacts of innovative mobility technologies and ITS applications affecting a large segment of our nation’s population.

Please join ITS Maryland for a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) focused panel discussion highlighting the impacts of innovative mobility technologies and ITS applications affecting a large segment of our nation’s population. What may seem to be the perfect solution to some, may be a large hindrance to others whose needs go largely unheard. As ITS professionals, we must start to recognize that stakeholder input is largely limited today. For diverse and inclusive solutions, we must first have diverse and inclusive perspectives. Tomorrow we must do better and this session explores some of the oversights we have created as well as some potential new practices to make our mobility initiatives safe, efficient, equitable, and provide value to all.
