Learn about how machine learning affects our day to day lives and how Major League Baseball uses machine learning to make smart decisions and predict outcomes.
This workshop will help you understand how to interpret the results of machine learning models and explain them to anyone.
What you’ll learn:
- Introduction to supervised vs. unsupervised machine learning
- An overview of the calculus and linear algebra concepts used in the k-means clustering algorithm
- Using Python libraries to apply complex algorithms with very few lines of code
Who is the workshop for?
No experience is required to attend this workshop! If you’ve had some experience with Python or coding in general, there is still a lot to learn from this workshop. This is a no-strings-attached opportunity for you to gain technical knowledge and find out if Data Science is something you’re passionate about. Just show up, and learn something new.
