Entre is hosting a special event geared towards the growing community of entrepreneurs, artists, creators, and innovators. Join us as we build a community of startup enthusiasts in the NYC area and have a conversation on the future of sports!

Our event brings people together to openly discuss and share ideas with like-minded individuals. We welcome entrepreneurs of all types, start-ups of all sizes, industries, and stages to join us in finding the inspiration, resources, and friends that will make them successful.

Collette V. Smith, Founder and President of Believe N You Inc.

Collette V. Smith is the Founder and President of Believe N You Inc. She gained international notariety when she became the NFL’s 1st African American female coach by way of being the 1st female coach in NY Jets franchise history. Collette made her NFL coaching debut with the NY Jets defensive backs in 2017 during Training Camp.

Her professional football career started at the age of 42, playing for the New York Sharks, an all-women’s professional football team. After being sidelined by an injury, she served as Coach and Director of Marketing, PR, Promotions and Events for the two Women’s Professional Football Leagues, the WFA and IWFL.

David Meltzer, Co-founder of Sports 1 Marketing, National Best-selling Author

David Meltzer is co-founder of Sports 1 Marketing, , with hall of fame quarterback Warren Moon. David formerly served as CEO of the renowned Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment agency, which was the inspiration for the movie Jerry Maguire.

Named a Top 100 Business Coach by Marshall Goldsmith, David regularly speaks at the world’s biggest business, sports, technology, and motivational events, while consulting for multiple companies, ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 500. David has invested in over 30 companies including one of the ten most valuable E-Sports franchises in the world, OverActive Media (OAM). David currently sits on the boards of over 40 companies and charities, including the Unstoppable Foundation. David has been named the Chief Chancellor of Junior Achievement University with over 100 million alumni, and has recently been named a chairman and head professor for Forbes University for Entrepreneurship.

Fielding Jamieson, Strategy Director for Global Sports Venture Studio

Fielding Jamieson is the Strategy Director for the Global Sports Venture Studio, a platform shaping the future of the fan and athlete experience through collaborative innovation between the world’s leading sports organizations. Formerly the Director of Business Partnerships for LIFT Labs at Comcast NBCUniversal, Fielding oversees partner relationships and facilitating partner engagement with emerging technologies sourced from the global startup ecosystem.

Fielding has driven corporate innovation strategy and business development opportunities by engaging with emerging technology, digital media, and startups around the world. She brings her expertise in launching and growing innovation groups within large organizations to GSVS’ roster of partners including adidas, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Eurosport, Fox Sports, Levy Restaurants, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, and UEFA.

Fielding is also a fierce advocate for the advancement of female founders, diversity in the tech ecosystem and inclusive design. She is heavily involved in CityLax, a nonprofit dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse in urban locations. She is also an advisor for two of her alma maters, Yale and Westminster Schools, based in Atlanta where she previously resided.

Wayne Kimmel, Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital

Wayne Kimmel is a sports tech venture capitalist, entrepreneur and author of Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel. He is the Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital, the venture capital company he founded in 1999, and invests in startup consumer facing tech companies in the sports tech, esports, and sports betting industries. Among the Fortune 500 companies that have acquired his portfolio companies are Aramark, Intel, IBM, Walgreens and Yahoo!

Wayne and his team recently launched the SeventySix Capital Athlete Venture Group, which allows professional athletes to invest, learn, and work directly with top sports tech startups and entrepreneurs. The firm aims to bridge the gap between athletes, entrepreneurs, and investors by creating opportunities for athletes to become tech investors and for entrepreneurs to access the financial and social capital that professional athletes have to offer. Athlete Venture Group members include Ryan Howard, DeMarco Murray, Ralph Sampson and Brian Westbrook. SeventySix Capital also has a partnership with Rubicon Talent, a sports marketing and talent agency based in New York City.
