Event Description
Join La-Tasha Best-Gaddy for a two-part series where you’ll take all your financial documents and reports and consolidate them into one working document that tells you the numbers. You’ll go from a folder of printouts and receipts to a working spreadsheet as you work through accounting issues that you may be having within your business.
This workshop will cover:
February 19, 2022 – Part 1:
- Record keeping practices, rules and tools for small business owners.
- How to prepare a profit and loss statement.
February 26, 2022 – Part 2:
- What cash flow is and why you need to know.
- Which tax forms and filings are really required for your business structure.
You must know the numbers to grow the business, this workshop will help you corral that information.
To get the most out of this workshop we recommend that you:
- Be prepared to work on a laptop or desktop computer with access to either Google sheets or Excel. Mobile devices are not sufficient.
- Print out and have ready all your available financial documents:
- 3 months printed bank statements
- 3 months of bills for your business (phone, suppliers, etc.)
- 3 months payment reports for venmo, cashapp, square, paypal, etc.
Your financial information will remain confidential, but you will work on putting this information into personal spreadsheets. This is a how-to and let’s-do workshop; the goal is to end the day with your financial information properly recorded.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email 24 hours before the class containing information about joining the webinar. Check your spam email as well.
