Event Description
The annual Diversity & Inclusion Research Conference (DIRC) is returning for its fifth year, as a hybrid (in-person and online), half-day event on November 15, 2022. The goal of this unique event is to foster increased collaboration between researchers and practitioners in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) as well as to establish D&I Research as a field of academic and applied study.
DIRC22 builds on the success of prior DIRC events to present a range of relevant topics through TED-style talks, disruptive conversations and multidisciplinary panels. For 2022 we are re-starting the in-person format, but also continuing the virtual element. The entire event will be live-streamed and recorded, and one panel will be held remotely and shown in-person. Conference content will shed light on academic and industry research on D&I, explore the impact of inclusive practices and engage in dialogue around time sensitive topics such as health disparities and systemic racism.
A partial list of presenters is included below. The complete presenter list for DIRC22 will be available shortly on the DIRC website (DIRC.info).
