6th Annual OHDSI Symposium will feature everything that makes our event an annual highlight for so many community members, including plenary sessions, tutorials and the Collaborator Showcase, as well as a two-day study-a-thon, where we will bring our global community together to collaboratively generate real-world evidence on an important healthcare issue.
We believe our efforts around the COVID study-a-thon showed just how impactful our community can be when we come together on a shared journey. The OHDSI Symposium is for both community veterans and newcomers who are interested in learning more about our network. Please continue to check the OHDSI website (www.ohdsi.org) and the OHDSI social platforms periodically for updates as we plan for a rewarding, online event!
OHDSI’S MISSION: To improve health by empowering a community to collaboratively generate the evidence that promotes better health decisions and better care.
OHDSI’S VISION: A world in which observational research produces a comprehensive understanding of health and disease.
The 2020 OHDSI symposium promotes this vision and provides OHDSI collaborators an opportunity to share our accomplishments with the broader healthcare community. The symposium will include an online collaborator showcase involving a poster session to highlight OHDSI’s research achievements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Our work benefits a range of individuals and organizations, including patients, providers, and researchers, as well as health care systems, industry, and government agencies. This benefit is achieved by improving both the quality of healthcare data analytics as well as the usefulness of healthcare data to these stakeholders.
CONFERENCE FEES: This year there will be no fees to attend any of our four-day, virtual events. You may cancel your free registration ticket at any time.
While we are excited to again create an opportunity for everyone to participate in the Symposium for free if they choose, there are costs associated with coordinating the OHDSI community activities. To help offset these costs, we provide the additional optional opportunity for participants to support the OHDSI community through ‘registration contribution’ and ‘optional registration fee’ tickets.
Should you need a tax receipt for your contribution, please contact email@example.com BEFORE making your registration contribution.
We thank you in advance for your support!
Please visit our website www.ohdsi.org, forums and all social platforms for additional information on the 2020 OHDSI Symposium, tutorials, and study-a-thon, as we continue to plan a rewarding experience for our community!
