Event Description
Early career researchers (ECRs) from our SHARE Network, and Supergen Bioenergy Hub members, can register to attend our Post COP Mop!
Across this two day event, hosted at Aberystwyth University on 7-8 December 2021, we will:
- Reflect on COP26 and the implications for bioenergy research
- Consider policy engagement and the development of the UK Biomass Strategy
- Explore training and development needs of the ECR community
- Have the opportunity to be in-person, attend the Hub Christmas meal and do site visits to see some bioenergy crops!
For SHARE members, the Hub will cover the costs of accommodation and meals when at Aberystwyth University, and SHARE members can apply for a travel bursary to cover the cost of their journey to and from the venue.
Accomodation will be in the Aberystwyth University Bunkhouse, more details of which can be found here: https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/visitors/bunkhouse/
