Please join us for a conversation with Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Minister of State and Digital Governance, about the Greek government’s plans for digitization. Minister Pierrakakis, a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School and MIT, is radically simplifying citizen interactions with the government, from birth through license, marriage and other life transitions, by streamlining access to this data and increasing its utility. The Greek government will issue by the end of 2021 a new digital identity card to allow citizens to access digital services with security, and Greece ranks second among EU member-states in bandwidth concession for 5G telecommunication network licenses.
