I use design to humanize business.
Here’s the long version of that: I am passionate about crossing language barriers, facilitating conversations, and solving problems. I believe organizational success is best created through the participatory design of strategy, and I champion abductive research and the power of value exchange as drivers for innovation. I’ve worked with clients from education, wellness, retail, management consulting, and technology—from startups to Fortune 100s. I speak and write about service design and customer experience, and I’m deeply in favor of the Oxford comma.
In my several other lives, I co-founded and ran two successful startups and worked as a research scientist, photographer, journalist, content strategist, editor, and DJ. I have a Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering and a Masters in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
