I’m a web designer who works well with technology and with people. I’m a visual storyteller and creative problem solver who relishes collaborating with clients, stakeholders and team members to develop compelling designs from ideation to completion.
I have 5+ years experience as a front-end web designer; 2 years working as a freelance front-end web designer offering UI, visual design, email design, WordPress and other services to small businesses, educational institutions and non-profits and 3+ years experience spread out over my 16 years as a design educator, where I led several service-learning web projects. My years teaching everything from HTML to user interface design gave me deep technical knowledge, strong interpersonal and management skills, and the ability to explain any design or technical concept to anyone.
I’m available for contract and full-time work. I’m particularly interested in in-house front-end web design work for corporations, non-profits and educational institutions.
